With Sunshine Quoi?, a series of conversations among the people involved in some of the most interesting alternative art spaces in Los Angeles today, ART2102 set out to foster a greater interaction in the city's art community. The events revealed an urgent need for platforms of exchange for LA's complex, sprawling, urban arts community, and for a deeper awareness and wider exposure of experimental practices occurring outside the city's main art institutions.

One year later, ART2102 commissioned Skylar Haskard to create a map, assembling a selection of current experimental practices and organizations, most of which were represented in Sunshine Quoi?
